Based on clinical research studies done in Japan by Yamashita (and others), a dose of 2 mg daily seems to be effective. Results appeared between 2 to 4 weeks.
Another study showed that 4 mg daily resulted in improved moisture, increased elasticity and reduced wrinkles and fine lines. These results were confirmed by dermatological skin surface photographs.
