Tomatoes is rich in an antioxidant called lycopene. Studies done in lab and animals show that lycopene can stop the spread and growth of cancer cells.
Higher blood levels of lycopene in humans are shown to reduce the risk of prostate, stomach and lungs.
There's also some studies to suggest that it can help prevent breast, colon, pancreas and throat cancer.

This group of vegetables include Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower.
Population
studies show that higher dietary intake of this group of vegetables
resulted in lower risk of developing bladder cancer.
What do they contain that gives them the anti-cancer protective effect? There are several but the three main ones are calcium D-glucarate, indole-3-carbinol and sulforaphane.

Studies done show that people who eat more fish than the average
population seem to have a lower risk of getting prostate, breast,
lung, colon, pancreas, stomach, mouth and throat cancer.
Fish and fish oil are a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids. More and more evidence is coming out (including this recent one) that points to the anti-cancer effect of omega-3 fatty acids.
