by Daniel Harron
Mini stroke happens when a part of the brain sudden does not receive sufficient blood supply. This can be caused by a blood clot that formed somewhere else in the body or by a ruptured blood vessel in the brain. The technical term is a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA).
This condition last no longer than 24 hour and often, the area of the brain affected recovers fully. Often, it last only for several minutes. In the case of a full stroke, also known as a cerebrovascular accident (CVA), the effects are much more noticeable and often the damage is permanent.

These symptoms show up suddenly and can be mild.
