What are some effective natural remedies for asthma treatment?

The dosage used in studies in both adults and children ranges from 4 to 8 grams daily. It may take up to 2 months to see some good results.

Magnesium

In some studies done on asthmatic subjects, it was discovered that many of them suffer from low magnesium levels in their blood. It is known that magnesium can help to relax muscle.

Lycopene

The recommended dose is to take 30 mg daily. The results can be seen in as little as 7 days.

Boswellia

Taking boswellia is shown to help reduce asthma attacks. The benefits can be seen in about 6 weeks.

The suggested dose is 300 mg taken three times a day.

Selenium

Selenium is a potent antioxidant. Some experts believe that oxidative damage may be involved in certain types of asthma conditions. Some studies show that selenium supplements cut down on asthma attack in 50% of the volunteers.

Suggested dose is 100 micrograms (mcg) taken once a day.
