25% reduction in deaths due to cancer.
Dose:
Take 1,000 IU daily.

C |

Several population studies showed a link between low levels of vitamin
C and increased risk of developing various forms of cancer (stomach,
colon, mouth, lung and prostate cancer).
Although experts are not certain, lab studies show that cancerous cells
absorb much more vitamin C than regular cells and this might be toxic
to them.
Dose: 5,000 to 10,000 mg ( 5 to 10 grams) in divided dose have been suggested.
Warning:
These high doses of vitamin C must be supervised by a healthcare
professional that specializes in using mega-dose vitamin C therapy for
cancer. Intravenous vitamin C therapy is commonly used to deliver these
high doses into the body.

Many population studies show that low levels of selenium is strongly
linked to prostate,
throat, stomach, lung, skin and colon cancer. The best benefit of
selenium is found in prevention of prostate
cancer.

Green Tea
(Camella
sinensis) |

Population
studies shows that drinking green tea seems to reduce the risk of
pancreatic, throat and bladder cancer. In women, drinking 2 cups
of green or black tea daily lowered the risk of getting
ovarian cancer
by 46%.
Dose:
Drink one
cup of green tea three times daily. Consider decaffeinated green tea to
cut back on the amount of caffeine. The other option is to take 1,500
mg daily (in divided dose) of green tea extract capsules.

| Garlic |

Garlic helps to boost the immune system and provides antioxidant
protection against cell damage.
Several population studies show taking garlic seems to reduce the risk
of developing prostate,
colon, stomach, breast and ovarian cancer.
Clinical studies to find out if garlic can prevent cancer have
not been done.
Dose:
Take 600 mg one to two times daily.

Maitake Mushroom
(Grifola
frondosal) |

Maitake is shown in some preliminary clinical studies to boost the
immune system to help fight of cancer cells. Several small studies have
been done to show that it can help with prostate, liver, lung
and breast cancers.
Dose:
Studies have used 0.5 to 1 mg per kilogram (2.2 lbs) of body weight
daily (in divided doses). This herb can be used in addition to
conventional anticancer therapy.

(Inositol hexaphosphate) |

This is a chemical that is extracted from rice bran that shows
anticancer benefits both in animal and some human clinical trials.
Studies suggest that it can be helpful preventing prostate, breast and
colon cancer.
Dose:
Take 4 to 8 grams daily.

Oil |

Several
large population studies show that low levels of omega-3's (found in
fish oil) is linked to an increased number of colon cancer cases.
Other studies showed that eating fish (rich in omega-3's)
twice weekly reduced endometrial cancer risk.

growth.
Dose:
Take a total of 1,000 mg of DHA and EPA found in fish oil.
